The Indian Premier League ever since its birth on September 13, 2007 has completely remolded and transformed the game of cricket. Be it the quality of the game or the global attraction, IPL has been a tremendous success over the years and it still continuous to do so.

The  IPL  is now entering its second decade and there are only a few weeks until the cricketing carnival kicks off. Let’s look at how each team stacks up.

1. Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB)

Captained by talisman -Virat Kohli, RCB have had a rejig in their ranks with ‘Universal Boss’, Chris Gayle, no longer in the ranks. With AB De Villiers and Yuvzendra Chahal looking to carry their pedigree into this season, the three-time finalists will look to stamp their authority on a trophy that is yet to be etched with their name. Although the only concern in this side is the wicket keeping department, which has no natural keeper. But, with the likes of Aaron Finch and Yuvraj Singh holding the fort along with the dynamism of KL Rahul & Karun Nair, the Punjabis sure do look like a team to watch out for!

Somehow always falling short, the Daredevils have now shuffled their ranks and recalled one of their own. – Gautam Gambhir to lead their charge for the 11th edition.
